Chevy's 2015 Silverado full-sized pickup truck combines fuel efficiency with power in this 1500 model. Both V6 and V8 engines are available, as well as a choice between 6- and
8-speed transmissions. Besides the new 8-speed transmission, the V6 can now tow up to 7,600 pounds (as opposed to 7,200 in last year's model). If a V8 engine is necessary for hauling
extensive cargo, up to 12,000 pounds in fact, these engines are equipped with fuel-saving cylinder deactivation technologically in order to increase fuel efficiency. Trims come in either
regular, extended or crew cabs, with beds ranging from 6.5 feet to 8.2 feet, depending on the cab chosen.
While the exterior of the 2015 model is similar to the 2014 model, the significant change between years is the truck's interior. Chevy has taken lengths to expand the interior of all trims to
make the Silverado ideal for both the work day and road trips. Not only is there plenty of storage space in the interior, but this truck is loaded with safety features including side curtain
airbags, antilock disc brakes, and front and rear parking sensors. An optional 8-inch touchscreen with Chevrolet's infotainment program with voice command is available in most trims as
well. In an effort to make this truck truly more user-friendly, Chevy has also added handholds and clever steps into each rear corner.Geneva Motors specialize in Silverados and all other
